Extracurricular Activities
Nixor O Levels offers a varity of ECAs to the students. These activities offer opportunities for students to learn the values of teamwork, individual and group responsibility, physical strength and endurance, competition, diversity, and a sense of culture and community. Extracurricular activities provide a channel for reinforcing the lessons learned in the classroom, offering students the opportunity to apply academic skills in a real-world context, and are thus considered part of a well-rounded education.
Exposure to a variety of sounds and rhythms is critical to cognitive development in children. Varied exposure leads to language proficiency, spatial reasoning, and temporal reasoning. It also increases understanding of moods, emotions, and other cultures.
Research shows that an education in art helps in enhancing cognitive abilities, critical thinking skills and reading and math skills.
Engaging in community service provides students with the opportunity to become active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society at large. Community service or volunteerism enables students to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most.
Communication is the backbone of our society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change.
At Nixor O Levels, we strongly believe that sports helps build character, fosters the development of social skills such as teamwork, cooperation, and leadership and teaches personal skills such as self-discipline, work ethic and coping with disappointment.
